Indeed, it is that time of the year again.

You've probably heard or even participated in one of Amazon's Prime Day Deals, which happens to be one of the biggest annual sales out there. Now that we are nearing this much-awaited event, you should remind yourself never to prepare only at the last minute.

Treat the Prime Day as a battlefield. You have to be prepared, you have to be equipped, and you have to be ready to seal those deals!

With that in mind, this article will give you all the tips to be battle-ready for Prime Day.

First Things First: Check Your Prime Account!

Now, this is the most basic tip, but it is also the most important one.

You must be an Amazon Prime subscriber first to take advantage of Prime Day's top bargains. Now is a wonderful time to double-check your membership status to make sure it won't expire before the July event.

Customers can go to this link to check the status of their Prime account. It will indicate if you are a monthly or annual member, as well as the date of your next renewal.

It must be noted that Amazon recently raised the price of a Prime subscription, so you'll be paying $15 a month or $139 for the year if you buy in advance.

Not Yet A Member? Sign Up for Free-Trial

You don't need to be a paid Prime member to take advantage of the discounts and other perks of Prime Day. However, you can sign up for Amazon's free 30-day trial of the service and use it for free as long as you cancel it before the trial expires and your paid membership begins.

Ready Your Payment Method

Nothing is more frustrating than missing out on a terrific Lightning Deal because you neglected to update your payment method on file.

In your Amazon account, you can easily check all of the payment methods you have on file, as well as when they expire. Remove those that have already expired, and make sure that the ones that remain don't expire in June or July so that your purchases go through smoothly.

If you plan on making any significant purchases, such as TVs or gaming PCs, you must notify your credit card company before Prime Day to avoid delays or denials.

Avail A Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card

Prime members may get 5% cash back at Amazon.com and Whole Foods, as well as 2% cash back at restaurants, petrol stations, and pharmacies with the Amazon Prime Rewards Signature Visa. You can also get 1% cash back on utilities, ridesharing, and other purchases with the card. There is no yearly charge, so if you purchase at these stores frequently, this could be a simple way to save money.

Lastly: Save, Save, Save!

As early now, you have to start saving money for the things you are planning to buy, and afterward, you are good to go to the battlefield and slay all the deals that come your way.
