However, there is a massive catch, and its price is $50,000, the price of a regular Tesla car that is readily available in its dealership or online stores now.
The public would have to pay $5,000 upfront for the initial reservation, but they are required by Tesla to pay an additional $45,000 within ten days to secure the unit for when it releases fully. It is not yet the total payment to the vehicle, as it will cost more than $50,000 for the electric sports car itself.
The Tesla Roadster is a premium vehicle, but it is an expensive one despite the $5,000 refundable deposit in terms of reservation.
