Apple got a leak for its following massive product for the Mac lineup, and it will be with a so-called "Mac Studio" that will be a hybrid of two Mac products previously released by the company. The device is only a leak for now, but the details include getting its power from the M1 Max processor, which the Cupertino giant debuted last year.

Apple got reports of a new device coming to their lineup that will give a different experience, addressing the need for professional devices from a Mac mini device. According to 9 to 5 Mac, the Mac Studio will be a mix of the Mac mini, focusing on the design and body of the device, but will have the capabilities to feature the power of the Mac Pro.

The report says that sources claim a discovery was seen from Apple's internal operations, referring to the new devices as "J375," a new codename representing the Mac Studio. However, there are no confirmations of the new device from official releases of the Cupertino giant.

There would be two versions of the device, with one focusing on the M1 Max device, while the other would be featuring a new processor from Apple, something which reports say are faster than the M1 Max.

A report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman via the Power On Newsletter says that a device will be coming from Apple that will have the same capabilities as the Mac Pro, but not necessarily its size. The device may be what the leakers point out, mainly as it will focus on the Mac mini device, which will feature different versions depending on the needs of its users.

Apple's Mac Lineup with the M-series

There have been many versions of the Mac throughout the years, and some have been phased out of production, like the Intel-powered Macs and the iMac Pro that select users prefer. Reports of a new Mac mini will usher in a new device that will feature the latest chipset from Apple, as it did so in the last two years since its first release in 2020.

However, there are reports for this year that say Apple will have a new lineup for its Macs, two years after the first release of the M1 chips from the company. The said reports focus on 2022's new lineup for Macs that will feature the M2 chip, the next-generation Silicon processors that will be the fastest Apple has to offer the public.

The Mac lineup would soon upgrade to a new chipset that will feature the faster processor that the world has seen with its computers, focusing on its many functions coming to the public. The new Mac Studio that will bring the power of the Mac Pro to a Mac mini device would help those wanting to transition to the Cupertino giant's products without the hassle of changing their setup.
