The ongoing drought for Cyberpunk 2077 news seems to be alleviating with an upcoming digital stream scheduled for Feb. 15th, 2022. Announced via the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, the event is set to premier at 4 PM CET, that's 10 AM ET and 7 AM PT, on CD Projekt Red's main Twitch channel.

CD Projekt Red had previously relayed the Cyberpunk 2077 next gen update release date as 'on track' for Q1 2022 after delaying it from the previous end of 2021 earmark. With it now being nearly halfway through Q1, the announcement only proves that CDPR will have a lot to talk about tomorrow and fans shouldn't have to wait long before diving headlong into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 on their PS5 and Xbox Seres X systems.

Released well over a year ago, Cyberpunk 2077 was at first held to be among the most anticipated games of 2020, yet no sooner fell short upon arrival. While some still adored the experience, more than most found CDPR's cyberpunk escapade as a hit and miss. A first of its kind, PlayStation even pulled the game from its store amid ample bugs, marking Cyberpunk 2077 as an unplayable mess.

Previous iterations of the Cyberpunk 2077 broadcasts were once called Night City Wire streams, which tended to showcase various internal possibilities inherent within the world of the game, Night City. Clearly, CDPR is taking a new approach to its marketing, as the livestream set for tomorrow takes on the moniker REDstream, highlighting that Cyberpunk isn't the only title on CDPR's docket.

Several forthcoming news bites pertaining to other CDPR IP include an update surrounding that other, far more anticipated, next-gen upgrade for The Witcher 3, which CDPR relayed would debut sometime in Q2 2022, following Cyberpunk's own update. The Polish-based developer could likewise be dropping more info on its single player Gwent digital card game, codenamed Project Golden Nekker.

Fans are likewise incredibly excited for a potential Cyberpunk 2077 DLC announcement, as the aforementioned Witcher 3 saw two paid expansion packs in the form of Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. Combined, both cost $25 and were utterly rich in content, with many calling them superb additions to the base game. If a similar treatment can be met for Cyberpunk 2077 remains to be seen.

Cyberpunk 2077 was awash in myriad hype leading into its release window. Among the most anticipated portions under the experience was its supposed online multiplayer portion, which was cut from the game upon release. As of December of last year, Cyberpunk 2077's multiplayer mode was supposedly canceled, but many believe there may still be some room for the idea in the form of its own standalone experience.

If a Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer title will be announced tomorrow is all but wishful thinking at this point, but CDPR does like to make statements long before it realistically should. As such, what's stopping them from showcasing The Witcher 4, arguably among the most anticipated experiences that won't see the light of day until well after 2030 at the earliest? Nothing, really.

In all likelihood, CDPR's Cyberpunk live stream tomorrow will feature a free DLC announcement in the form of a New Game Plus add-on, new guns, maybe a few extra questlines, and various enhancements wrapped into that much-needed 1.5 patch. The latter update has been teased by CDPR for some time now amidst the still ongoing Cyberpunk 2077 roadmap, so it's highly likely we'll be seeing update 1.5 before or amid the debut of the free next-gen upgrade.

Lastly, CDPR will conclude tomorrow's broadcast with the release date for the next-gen upgrade, as well as a tease for a forthcoming paid expansion for the game. What exactly said Cyberpunk 2077 DLC will look like and even when it could release are unknown, but judging by the fan outcry and CDPR's commitment to turn things around regarding Cyberpunk, the expansion (or expansions) will have to be extraordinary to appease the dwindling playerbase.
