SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk left his followers puzzled when he posted about a "new drug coming out" on Twitter, sparking a meme fest on the social media platform.

"Much of the surprise of his followers who could not decide whether the billionaire entrepreneur was joking or not. Others wondered whether Musk, co-founder of Neuralink, a company that manufactures "implantable brain-machine interfaces," could really have come up with the new drug. On the other hand, some admitted that they did not fully understand what the Tesla CEO was tweeting about but stated that it could also be a joke.

NDTV reports that several of the Regretamine memes referred to Elon Musk's past record of fortune-making tweets that drove stocks' value and, more recently, Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency that he referenced in several of his tweets. Dogecoin started life itself as a straightforward joke posted online in 2013 but gripped imaginations and was eventually developed as an actual cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, Twitter users poke fun of the "Regretamine" post from Elon Musk that eventually started an all-out meme war. Several of them thought of the same thing and said that people who are not investing in Dogecoin could end up taking the said pharmaceutical drug in the future, Independent reported.

Besides that, Elon Musk is reported to be building a city in Texas called "Starbase," around the rocket launch site of his company SpaceX. Used to cause a stir by typing few words, Musk posted on Twitter that he is "creating the city of Starbase, Texas." Later, Elon Musk alluded to his project to colonize the red planet, hinting that Starbase would be just the beginning to go further. "From there to Mars, And hence the Stars," said Musk on the social media platform.
