Elon Musk is back on Twitter to deliver good news to Tesla fans: the premium electric vehicle sedan of the company, Model S, will have a massive price discount starting tonight. Tesla Model S will now see a price tag of $69,420, a seemingly joke of a price but a legitimate bargain, according to the CEO.
Tesla's eccentric Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, seemingly cracks a joke after tweeting the price of brand new Model S to roll off the factory. These numbers are known to be two of the comedic numbers of the millennial generation. The public speculates on the price update, saying it matches the 2022 car, Lucid Air.
Twitter users are initially skeptical of Elon Musk's announcement because of the "comedic 12-year-old" joke used by the CEO. However, this is a real announcement by Musk, further reducing the price of the Model S.

Model S Price Slash Twitter Announcement
If you think Tesla could not get any interactive, wait until you see Elon Musk's tweet. Apart from the CEO's Twitter account being an extension of its customer service with drivers asking about Tesla's concerns, Musk's Twitter is also an "announcement board" for the company.
Elon Musk is known to reject the idea of advertisements, particularly in paying for those as he and Tesla fans get the job done. Just earlier, Elon Musk tweeted that the ever-popular premier sedan of the company, Model S, will have a price change scheduled as of the moment.
"The gauntlet," as Musk calls it, has been thrown down earlier with the announcement and dawn of the night. An additional $2,500 discount for the electric vehicle will be official and available to the public. Recently, Elon Musk reduced the car's price to around the $72,000 range but changes it again today. Elon Musk addresses this as a "fulfillment of prophecy" from his many words of wisdom shared on social media.
Twitter Fans Reaction
Tesla fans and the public dispute over Elon Musk's announcement. Some think it fit the company while others call it 'foolish'. Behind the statement, several fans speculate that this is a move against the 2022 electric vehicle from Lucid Motors, "Air."
The CEO's move is opposed by a Twitter user, saying that this is not an ideal time to issue price reductions due to the on-going recession and market decline due to the coronavirus.
Several fans reacted with words of praise for the CEO, commending him for making the vehicle cheaper and more affordable for the general public. Another even related it to be part of Amazon's Prime Day 2020 discounted deal.
