The Samsung Galaxy S9 is one of this year's best flagship phones. With top-tier cameras, a nearly bezel-less design, and beastly specs, it goes toe-to-toe with the likes of Google's Pixel flagships and Apple's latest iPhones. No surprise, then, that it comes with a hefty price tag — about $800, depending on the model.

But those who've been holding out until a crazy deal comes for this excellent flagship don't have to wait any longer. Look no further than Best Buy's current deal, which slashes more than $500 off the standard retail price of the phone, meaning people can now own a Galaxy S9 for as low as $216.

Best Buy Samsung Galaxy S9 Deal

Nope, that's not a typographical error. Best Buy is indeed selling the flagship at that crazy price. That comes with a couple of slight caveats, though. Firstly, people must sign up with Sprint for a two-year plan, and that huge discount will only be applied through monthly bill credits. Most people would probably balk at the notion of signing up for a contract, but it's worth noting that this deal brings the typical $33 monthly plan to just $9 — equivalent to just several cups of coffee at Starbucks, which is crazy.

Lastly, the deal only applies to one colorway. People who want something other than black are out of luck here. Regardless, this is perhaps the lowest price this phone has ever dipped to, and needless to say it's going to be a definite bang for anyone's buck, especially those looking to upgrade from their near-ancient phones. The deal is live on Best Buy's website.

Samsung Galaxy S9

Again, the Galaxy S9 is one of the best-reviewed phones this year, and it will probably remain a pretty excellent device in the next few years to come. Although Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 has just been announced as the future of smartphones, it's still packing a pretty powerful Snapdragon 845 chip, and that's coupled with 4 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, easily making it one of the best Android options customers can get, aside from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

The Galaxy S9 also marked the debut of a new camera technology called variable aperture, which simply means the phone can open up its cameras a bit further to allow more light in at times where it's most needed, such as taking photos in low-light situations. Then, when it comes to taking picture in environments where there is sufficient source of light, it automatically closes the aperture accordingly to make sure it gets the right exposure. It's a slight, but smart upgrade, making the camera on the Galaxy S9 one of the best in the business.
