Acer Launches Liquid M330 $99 Unlocked Windows 10 Smartphone On Microsoft Online Store

While Microsoft is putting most of its focus on Windows 10 for desktop, it is now selling a new Windows 10 Mobile smartphone. The Acer Liquid M330 just launched and is available from the Microsoft Store for $99 unlocked.

It's no secret that Microsoft hasn't been able to achieve the success it has experienced in the PC world with its smartphone lineup and OS. The company recently launched its first major upgrade to Windows Phone in the form of Windows 10 Mobile.

Windows 10 Mobile brings the full Microsoft Office suite, universal apps, Cortana digital assistant, OneDrive cloud storage, and more to the table.

The OS is available as a free upgrade for many of Microsoft's Lumia smartphones and now it's available out of the box from the just launched Acer Liquid M330.

Microsoft has added the unlocked Acer Liquid M330 to its online store where it can be purchased unlocked for $99.

The unlocked Acer Liquid M330 runs Windows 10 Mobile out of the box and features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA display. The handset is powered by 1.1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 1 GB of RAM. It includes 8 GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64 GB microSD cards, and 30 GB of free Microsoft OneDrive online storage.

The Acer Liquid M330 packs in a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies, Skype, and video chat. Its dimensions come in at 5.35 x 2.62 x 0.38 inches (136 x 66.5 x 9.6 mm) and it weighs 5.11 ounce (145 grams), and has a user replaceable 2,000 mAh battery that will provide up to five hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.
