The Division has been getting plenty of flak in the past couple of weeks from players. From numerous game-ruining exploits and glitches to a nerfed crafting system that forces players to spend more time grinding resources, many fans aren't happy with how Ubisoft and developer Massive have been treating players.

But nobody expected Fox News to chime in on the issue. That's exactly what happened in a recent Red/Eye segment on the cable news network, and it's 100 percent as strange as it sounds.

During a segment about what skills every 18-year-old should have today, host Andy Levy included the ability to level up a Division character among other real skills like money management and being able to "cope with ups and downs."

Levy blasted the developers of The Division specifically for nerfing the game's crafting system and allowing cheaters to easily get the best gear in the game through an exploit, players who then proceed to annihilate weaker players in the PvP Dark Zone area.

"Be able to level up your character in The Division, despite the way Massive nerfed the crafting system and allows packs of super-geared rogues to gank you in the Dark Zone," Levy says during the final part of segment. "Thanks a lot, jerks."

It's pretty bizarre to see a show host on Fox News talk about The Division, but he certainly has a point. Though Ubisoft has addressed some of the issues (like fixing a recent infinite weapon damage glitch), there are still plenty of problems yet to be fixed. It seems like every patch issued for the game meant to repair a specific problem ends up creating three more issues for players to complain about.

The team at Massive has certainly dug themselves into a deep hole if Fox News is now commenting on it, even if the comment was largely just a one-off joke. We can only help the Massive team climb their way out of their self-dug pit and make nice with many of the gamers who feel The Division is losing some of its luster.
