When Shane McMahon appeared as a guest on ESPN's The Michael Kay Show late last week, he delivered a message to his WrestleMania 32 opponent, the Undertaker.
"Stop working out," McMahon said to laughs on the radio show.
There's truth in jest, though, as Shane-O-Mac was probably referring to the Undertaker's wife, Michelle McCool-Calaway, who posted an Instagram shot of herself and her husband working out last month, with the Phenom flexing his lats.
So, how does a returning Shane McMahon plan on dealing with the Dead Man's 25 years and counting of WWE dominance at WrestleMania 32 in a Hell in a Cell match on April 3? Well, for starters, by hitting the gym hard himself.
Since appearing on WWE programming for the first time in six years last week on Monday Night Raw, Shane-O-Mac has flooded his Twitter account with videos of himself working out in the gym and doing Muay Thai training in preparation of facing the Undertaker on "the Grandest Stage of Them All."
What started as a short clip of himself doing a post-workout stretch with his Muay Thai coach last Wednesday transitioned to a tweeted video of Shane knocking out a set of dips at the gym.
Shane didn't slow down over the weekend, either, perfecting his Saenchi kick with his Muay Thai coach on Sunday.
Despite not being on Raw last night, Shane was back at the gym, working on his strength and conditioning with some pushups.
He'll need all those reps and more, considering the Undertaker's chilling warning to Vince McMahon on Raw.
"You know ... you know ... you know what's going to happen when I close that door behind me at WrestleMania," the Undertaker said, gripping Vince by the throat, in reference to his Hell in a Cell match with Shane, on April 3. "You know what I do.
"The blood of your son is going to be on your hands," Taker continued, "not mine."
Yeah, Shane ... keep hitting the weights and training.
